IN THE BEGINNING...
Going to college at Bryant in Smithfield, RI, Jay was introduced by some friend to what was then known as the Atomic Grill and Club Fusion. Having never been a big club-goer, Jay fell instantly in love with the lights, sounds and atmosphere of the establishment. Over the year friendships grew and Jay became a regular at would become Restaurant Prov. Here he also met Mike Morgan, otherwise known as DJ Biggie.
Through these relationships, and a love for Providence, Jay became interested in all of what Providence had to offer, from nightclubs, to bars, to restaurants, and everything in between.
On the phone with his college roommate Kevin (President, www.beyondplasma.com) sometime later, the concept for a website detailing all of the happening in Providence was born in the hopes of sharing the same experiences Jay had in Providence with everyone.
Years later, and several revisions relaunched, Providence After Dark is still here, a work in progress, with the vision of creating and enjoying the perfect night out on the town in Providence.
